About TEA Nigeria

We believe that every voice matters. Our organization is dedicated to uplifting the stories and experiences of marginalized communities, particularly LGBTQ+ individuals. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, we strive to create a platform that amplifies these voices, fostering a supportive environment where everyone can express themselves freely and authentically. TEA Nigeria was established in 2021 by a group of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for Gender and sexual minority

individuals in Nigeria. Our founders were inspired by the struggles of GENDER AND SEXUAL MINORITY individuals in Nigeria who faced socio-economic challenges, discrimination, stigma, and violence due to their gender identity. We recognised the urgent need for a platform to provide support, advocacy, and empowerment to these individuals.
